Kenny is giving us the private use of his back dining room (no charge) and will have his breakfast buffet available to all attendees for $10.00/person plus tip. As many of you already know, that is ASU’s Homecoming week-end. It was agreed in this meeting that this Saturday morning slot was the most practical time to gather without interfering with other Homecoming events.

The agenda we hope to address at the Saturday morning meeting is fairly straight-forward:
1.  Hold elections for officers of the Association – We are actively soliciting interest by individuals for the offices of President, Vice President and Treasurer. Brandon Gardner is currently serving as Treasurer and said he is agreeable to serving again. Josh Smith is the first Alum to put his hat in the ring for the President’s slot. Please contact Dick Robertson or Michael Murray if you want to be considered for any of these offices.
2.  Resolve questions regarding the requirement for Director slots and how/if those Directors would relate to the proposed “Alumni Advisory Board”. We again are asking for volunteers from the Alumni ranks who might consider serving as a Director.
3.  Review/discuss/modify the current by-laws of the association.
4.  Once the preceding business items are covered, the meeting will be opened up for discussion by all present regarding other topics of interest, such as:

a.  Utilizing our talented Brothers (Paul Cormier and Michael Murray) to address the goal of merging/creating a more effective Alumni database.
b.  Establishing Association priorities and processes for acceptable funding initiatives and associated reporting.
c.  Clarification of the “House/Lodge” situation along with discussion of other, and possibly more effective, priorities for Alumni efforts.

If you are planning to be here for Homecoming week-end activities and can attend the Saturday breakfast meeting, please RSVP to Dick Robertson so that he can provide Blanek’s with a reasonably accurate head-count.
